Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--4.3; XbaI--4.3; PstI--4.3; HindIII--4.3. This is an Escherichia coli/Saccharomyces integrative shuttle vector with multiple cloning sites. Constructed from YEp352 (ATCC 37673) by cleavage at the SspI and HpaI sites in the 2 micron sequence. Some 2 micron sequence remains, but replicative function has been lost. |
