Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.2; PstI--2.7, 0.5; BamHI--3.2; EcoRI/PstI--2.7, 0.5; BglII--3.2. One of the EcoRI sites was destroyed during cloning, so the 0.507 kb EcoRI/PstI fragment can be used as the probe. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: AluI, HaeIII, MspI, PvuII, RsaI (19 unrelated Japanese individuals). |
