A ClaI/SalI double digest yields a 3 kb doublet (vector and insert). The insert overlaps with 5' end of pHLC3.11 (ATCC 59108/59109). The insert includes about 440 bp of the 5' untranslated region which differs from that of pHLC3.59 (ATCC 59112/59113) except for 60 bp upstream from the coding sequence. The insert also includes coding sequences for the beta chain of C3. |
