The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): EcoRI--0.1; XbaI--0.6, 1.3; NdeI--0.7; PstI--2.2, 2.4, 2.6; BglII--2.8.
The methylase and endonuclease genes are both transcribed in the same direction, with the methylase being 5' to the endonuclease. The methylase gene lies within the first 1.5 kb of the insert; the endonuclease gene within the last 0.9 kb.
Distributed in aliquots of 100 ng dried.
