The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the end closer to the ori): EcoRV--0.8, 2.4; ClaI--1.2, 2.2; SacI--1.6; PvuII--2.7. The vector is pBR322 modified such that the EcoRI site, the PvuII site, and the two DraI sites located outside of the bla gene have been replaced by NotI sites.
