Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--2.6, 1.8, 0.84; EcoRI--5.5; HindIII--2.7, 1.8, 0.88; BamHI--5.4; PstI--5.4. An EcoRI/HindIII double digest shows insert fragment sizes of 2.0 and 0.6 kb. Codominant segregation of the MspI polymorphism has been demonstrated in 43 3-generation families. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BglII, PstI, PvuII, RsaI, TaqI. |
